This notice is prepared under Article 10 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the related Communiqué on Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, to explain how your personal data is processed by the data controller when you visit iotmarketi.com or submit a quote request.

Depending on your relationship with us (site visitor only, quote requester, or corporate customer), one or more of the following categories may be processed:

IP address (stored hashed/masked, never in plain text in analytics tables), browser/device information, reCAPTCHA risk score — used to prevent abuse and secure the request form.
Marketing & analytics information (only with your analytics cookie consent)
Page views, referring site, landing page, UTM parameters, repeat-visit statistics. Not collected if you decline analytics cookies; your quote request is still created either way.
Electronic correspondence content
The plain-text content of emails we exchange with you regarding your quote (HTML is never stored — only converted plain text).
AI chat assistant data (only with your functional cookie consent)
The messages you type into the AI chat widget, the assistant's replies, your IP address and browser/device information — collected only if you accept the "functional" cookie category. Not collected if you decline; the widget simply does not activate.

Your personal data may only be transferred to the recipient groups below, and only to the extent each purpose requires. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes:
Email infrastructure providers
For sending and receiving quote-related correspondence (SMTP/IMAP service providers), only to the extent necessary.
Hosting / cloud infrastructure
The server and storage infrastructure that runs iotmarketi.com and its database.
Shipping / logistics companies
Only for approved orders that require physical delivery, and only the shipping data needed for that delivery.
Accounting / financial advisory
For invoicing and legally required bookkeeping.
AI service provider (international transfer)
If you use the AI chat assistant, the message you type is transmitted to our AI/large-language-model provider (based outside Turkey) to generate a reply. This transfer takes place only after — and based on — your explicit consent (functional cookies), as permitted under KVKK Art. 9.
Public authorities
Only when there is a lawful, binding request from a competent authority.
Your personal data is kept only for as long as its processing purpose requires, never beyond the maximum periods set by applicable law; once that period ends it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized:
Quote records & commercial correspondence
Kept for 10 years as required by the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law.
Visit / analytics data (hashed IP, page views)
Kept for up to 26 months — the maximum period referenced in the Turkish DPA's (KVK Kurulu) cookie guidance — and reviewed periodically as part of routine maintenance; records past this window are purged.
Cookie consent record
Kept for the validity period of your consent (currently 182 days), after which it is asked again.
AI-crawler visit logs
Contain no personal data (bot user-agent + page path only) — kept for GEO/trend monitoring purposes.
AI chat transcripts
Kept for up to 24 months to evaluate service quality and as evidence in the event of a dispute, then deleted — a shorter period than commercial correspondence, since a chat that doesn't lead to a quote has no separate legal record-keeping requirement.
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may apply to the data controller to exercise the following rights:
You may submit requests regarding the rights above (i) in writing to the data controller's address above, in person or via notary, with identity-verifying documents, (ii) from the email address already on file with us to [email protected], or (iii) via secure electronic/mobile signature or your own registered email (KEP) to our KEP address above. Requests are finalized free of charge within 30 days at most, depending on their nature; if the request requires an additional cost, a fee set by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
