Harsh Environment Conditions Milesight routers feature industrial-grade design, reliable operation from -40°C to 70°C, 9–48V DC input support, and EMC/EMS certification for distribution cabinet and outdoor deployments. Compact form factor supports DIN-rail, desktop, or wall mounting in tight spaces.
Connectivity Disruptions & Network Outages Dual SIM with automated failover/failback, embedded watchdog, SMS/email alerts, and multi-path transmission (cellular, Ethernet, Wi-Fi) ensure uninterrupted network availability. Smart grid infrastructure experiences minimal downtime.
Scalability & System Integration Rich interfaces (RS232, RS485, DI, DO, GNSS), embedded Python SDK, Node-Red support, and multi-protocol capability (Modbus, MQTT, TCP, HTTP, API) simplify smart meter management and data collection. DLMS (Q3 2025) and DNP3 (Q4 2025) protocol support planned.
